Throwing Kits

from $33.33

Your throwing kit is a personal divination system made for bone throwing, charm casting, ancestral work, and intuitive readings. Each kit contains a unique mixture of natural curios, shells, stones, dice, charms, and symbolic pieces. No two kits will be exactly alike.

These kits are meant to grow with you. The meanings below give you a foundation, but as you work with your set, your ancestors and intuition may give certain pieces additional or completely personal meanings. Pay attention to where a piece lands, what it lands beside, whether it falls inside or outside your casting area, and how the symbols interact with one another.

Some of the pieces I included pictured can be read as:

  • Cowrie shells: Money, abundance, fertility, femininity, spiritual communication, exchange and opportunity. Open/mouth side can represent something being revealed, received or spoken; closed/back side can represent something withheld, protected or not yet accessible.

  • Dice: Chance, probability, timing and circumstances that are still moving. The number showing can become part of the message. Doubles can emphasize or confirm a matter.

  • Red drawstring bag: The vessel/home of the throwing set. Red can also represent life force, passion, protection, courage and active energy.

  • Pinecone: Growth, seeds being planted, fertility, potential, wisdom and something that needs time to mature.

    • Skull: Ancestors, spirits, death, endings, transformation, hidden knowledge, and what remains from the past. Near another piece, it can point to an ancestral influence surrounding that matter.

    • Key: Access, solutions, opportunities, unlocking roads, secrets being revealed, and having the power to open or close something. A key landing near a difficult piece can show the way out or solution.

    • Owl: Wisdom, intuition, discernment, seeing what others cannot see, nighttime/dream messages, and hidden information coming to light. Can also say watch closely before acting.

    • Gold Dice: Luck, chance, calculated risks, money opportunities, gambling with an outcome, and circumstances that can change quickly. The number facing upward matters and can represent timing, quantity, or additional symbolism. Gold adds prosperity, success, business, and material matters.

  • Gold pieces/coins: Money, business, success, prosperity, value and material gain.

  • Seed/nutlike pieces: Beginnings, fertility, potential, something being planted and results that develop over time.

  • Natural wood/bark pieces: Roots, family, ancestry, foundations, home and matters that have been developing for a long time.

    1 = beginning/self, 2 = partnership/choice, 3 = growth/communication, 4 = stability/home, 5 = change/conflict, 6 = completion/harmony/responsibility.

Disclaimer Your kit is not limited to this guide. Your personal relationship with your pieces takes priority. If a charm repeatedly speaks to you in a particular way during readings, write that meaning down. Over time, your throwing set develops its own language.
